After I told Vicious, the carpenter of Henesys, that I wanted to become his apprentice, he gave me a test. He said that woodcrafting requires one to have the proper strength and knowledge and asked me to defeat monsters near Henesys and collect Tree Branches.
Completed
I passed the test given by Vicious, the carpenter of Henesys. Does this mean I can now become a proper carpenter in Maple World?
Full dialogue
Henesys is well known as a town that trains archers, but not many people realize that it's also home to some excellent carpenters. Handling all of Athena Pierce's requests on my own is starting to get a bit overwhelming... So, I was wondering, would you be interested in becoming a Carpenter?
Oh? You're asking what a carpenter is? Haha, fair enough. A carpenter is someone who works with wood to craft various wooden armor pieces and consumable items. I have a feeling it might suit you quite well, what do you think?
Accept: You're quick to decide. That's great! Still, I think it would be best to make sure you're truly suited for the work.
Accept: To be a carpenter, you'll need not only skill, but also strength and knowledge--understanding materials, how to obtain them, and the ability to gather them yourself. Could you defeat Stumps near Henesys and bring back 20 Tree Branches? Then we can talk further.
Decline: You seem a bit busy right now. But becoming stronger in Maple World isn't only about defeating monsters. Learning how to work with wood can also open the door to a whole new level of growth. If you change your mind, please feel free to come back anytime.
It looks like you defeated the monsters and gathered all the materials I asked for! In that case, I think I'm ready to teach you my skills.
